Job Description

**Full-Time, Day Shift**

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibilities of the Assistant Sales Director are to assist with sales activities as determined by the Regional team, Executive Director, and Sales Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Previous senior living, marketing or sales experience preferred
  • Willingness to engage in consistent one-on-one conversations with prospective residents, family members, and referral sources
  • Ability to overcome concerns and develop meaningful relationships with prospective residents, family members and referral sources
  • Willingness to work productively with other departments
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Demonstration of ability to establish long-term relationships
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours to meet customers’ schedule
  •  

Physical Demands: Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry and manipulate various items and to walk efficiently around the building. Lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs. Using proper body mechanics or available equipment to help. Physical activity required throughout the shift.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Planning and assisting in the execution of all on-site and off-site events, including Lunch & Learns, Open Houses, Referral Events, etc.

 

  • Conducting inquiry calls utilizing an inquiry sheet. Acts as primary point person for inquiry calls when Sales Director is conducting outreach or unavailable.
  • Conducting onsite visits, including walk-in tours, with prospective residents and their family as assigned.
  • Conducting meaningful follow up contacts with Future Resident Club members and their family as assigned. Meaningful contacts are defined as face-to-face or ear-to-ear conversation and should result in a high level of engagement within FRC members.
  • Coordinating communication and sales efforts to ensure successful implementation of move-ins.
  • Promoting the resident referral bonus to all residents on a monthly basis.
  • Conducting home visits to current residents at the request of the Executive Director.
  • Assisting with team training on the inquiry process, onsite visits and customer service.
  • Recording follow up activities with prospective residents, their families, and referrals in CRM
  • within 3 days of your activity.
  • Following company policy and procedures.
  • Assisting with completion of competitive analysis bi-annually and analyzing marketplace demands and competitors.
  • Attending any community sponsored events/organizations that fit within the Primrose
  • mission statement.
  • Participating in assigned sales and marketing calls with Home Office personnel.
  • Participating in management team meetings.
  • Utilizing your Regional Sales & Marketing Manager as a resource for tools, planning and
  • strategy.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

    • Employees will not work under the influence of mood-altering or illegal drugs or alcohol.
    • If you are required to take medication, inform the Executive Director that you are taking
    • meds and for how long
    • Professional appearance and good personal hygiene is required at PRIMROSE

  • information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.
  • Confidentiality is of the utmost importance and will be considered at all times when
  • dealing with 3rd parties.

BUDGET AND EXPENSES:

  • Maintaining sales and marketing budgetary items in line with the department budget.
